Today was the last day of our trip. We spent the morning hydrofoiling from Hydra to Athens. We spent the afternoon visiting the Parthenon, the ancient temple to Athena, the virgin goddess (the meaning of parthenon). The ruins were spectacular. From the Acropolis, the marble based mount on which the Parthenon was built, we could see Athens in its entirety; what an incredible view of a fascinating city. Our flight to Paris leaves at 7:00 in the morning, meaning we will have to leave the hotel at 3:00 am. It will be the start of a long day of travel coming home. I can’t wait to get there.
